Your coffee shelf and journal now work more closely together. Go straight from a saved coffee to its brew history, check its details while reading your notes, and start a new entry with that coffee already selected. Whether you’re at your desk or beside the coffee machine, it’s easier to pick up where you left off.
What changed in v0.5.0
Find your coffee at a glance
A growing collection should still be easy to browse. More compact views, visible flavor badges and refined phone layouts help you recognize your coffees without opening every detail. Search by coffee or roaster, filter your shelf, or use Recently brewed to find coffees with your latest added journal entries.
Keep the coffee and its story together
Wondering how you liked this coffee last time? Open its Brew History directly from My Beans. While browsing the Journal, you can also check the coffee’s reference profile and details without leaving your records. Close the panel and carry on where you were.
Get to the cup you want to record
Start an entry from a coffee’s history and that coffee is already selected. Choose a supported brewing method, or use a compatible saved default. Coffee and method choices work together, helping you avoid combinations that don’t fit the coffee you’re using.
Make the rating yours
Today’s cup starts with a question, not a preset score. Liking now begins as Not rated, so you choose how much you enjoyed it before saving. More detailed sensory ratings remain optional—add them when you have something to record.
